- Recruitment to CALM for children with difficulties in attention, learning and/or memory is now closed.
- We have now reached the target number of children with difficulties in attention, learning and/or memory set out in our study design.
- we are no longer able to accept referrals for children who are struggling academically.
- We would like to thank all referrers who took part in CALM – we could not have reached our recruitment target without your help.
Since May 2018 we have been recruiting children attending the same schools as the children we have already seen in CALM. The purpose of this new recruitment phase is to allow us to look in detail at the extent to which the cognitive abilities, learning, behaviour and brain functioning of children referred to CALM differ from a representative sample of children of the same age.
This new phase represents an exciting time for us in developing our understanding of the cognitive and neural characteristics of children with particular profiles of learning difficulties relative to the larger school population.
