Funding
The Medical Research Council and the University of Cambridge were the primary sponsors of the project. The MRC provided intra-mural support for core CALM staff. Clinic testing was conducted by a team of researchers supported either by the MRC or external grants/studentships.
Ethics
The local NHS Research Ethics Committee granted ethical approval for CALM and its longitudinal follow-up, CALM II.
